Digitising the Investment Proposal Process
Client from 2001 – Being the oldest independent financial institution in the Netherlands, with their history as a principled, active investor, focusing on the long term, they want to create positive long-term financial and non-financial value. To do so, one of their strategic pillars is the advance through digitisation and analytics.
Van Lanschot Kempen further digitises its investment advisory business in the Private Bank by introducing Objectway’s component for Digital Investment Proposals.
The investment advisor composes an investment proposal, having a direct insight into the pre- and post-trade impacts on the client portfolio.
Automated compliance validation checks take place making sure the proposal is suitable. The resulting buy and sell orders are ready for order routing, after the proposal is approved by the client.
Van Lanschot Kempen integrated their communication platform MessageCenter with the Proposal component. By doing this, the advisor is able to generate a PDF report from the proposal , add a personal message including the transaction rationale, and send it to the client via email. The advisor is able to monitor the progress and follow up on all outstanding proposals via both the Proposal component and/or the MessageCenter.
