OWINTALK | BEHIND BUSINESS, BEYOND NEWS

Objectway has grown and evolved significantly over the past year. At the beginning of 2021 we started to update our design system. Since then, from our overall rebrand journey, to our new website and blog, we have refreshed our look to reflect who we are. We have tailored a brand identity that explicitly manifests our values, while staying true our focus.

As part of the ongoing development of our organisation, after months of hard work and seamless collaboration, in July we have launched our renewed, faster, easier to navigate and more user-friendly corporate portal that goes under the name of One Objectway.

Today, our new corporate portal features a modern design, and it becomes part of the overall brand experience, this time internally speaking. It reflects Objectway’s bold, energetic and forward-looking culture, designed to inspire our people as we all continue to provide quality value and services to our clients.

But design isn’t enough, is it right? Not if it is not supported by purpose and a vision.

Much more than a corporate portal, a community manifesto

There’s this African proverb, you know, that says “It takes a village to raise a child”. It fundamentally means that an entire community of people should provide for and interact positively with children for those children to experience and grow in a safe environment. Let us misquote from this, and rather say that it takes a village to raise a community. And back then digital wasn’t even a thing.

Now that Covid-19 pandemic has changed our work practices and altered our work culture in ways we never anticipated, perhaps permanently, insisting on community has turned into a prerogative of ours as we build the Objectway of tomorrow.

As simple as it sounds, communities have the extraordinary power to unite people, make us feel part of something greater, allow us to interact, discover, share, achieve together. And if it’s true that the pandemic has cost us community in many ways, it has not stopped us from connecting with each other – that remains on us.

Since we are still largely working remotely, we have given new life to our community by providing everyone with a tool that furthers connection and makes us feel closer to one other.

Make One Together, our slogan, is our mission: to power up relationships, to forge bonds that last, to encourage relevant exchange, to belong in our brand. To create, cultivate, cherish One meaningful community Together.

This way, One Objectway becomes much more than a corporate portal, it becomes everyone’s place, everyone’s point of reference for sharing what is happening within our company, getting to know our colleagues, understanding how different teams operate, finding useful information for daily activities and collaborating in an original way.

Our new homepage hosts our values, our commitment to make a greener Objectway, it calls on our people to say goodbye to blue Mondays and embrace green Mondays, just to name one, to foster a cohesive and dynamic community powered by change that looks at the highest good of all; one that cooperates, collaborates and commits to forge together an organisation of changemakers.

It invites to stay in touch with the latest news about Objectway: publications on local and foreign newspaper, HR communications and a newly inaugurated section by the name of “Life in OW” where to discover all the initiatives shaping Objctway’s very authentic self.

One Objectway is the result of a more inclusive effort to help our people feel connected, both to each other and to our organisation. We recognise community will be the lifeblood of our company, and we are committed to invest in our community day after day.

After all, this is just the beginning.
